OUR UPCOMING SCHEDULE:
JOIN US FOR OUR SEASON ON THE BOOK OF JOB! MAY 9 THROUGH JUNE 6, 2026! Why do bad things happen to people who love God? Few books of the Bible wrestle with that question as honestly, painfully, and powerfully as the book of Job. Job is not a tidy story with easy answers. It is a raw, inspired account of suffering, faith, confusion, accusation, silence, and finally, a life-changing encounter with God. In this Bible study series, we will explore what Job reveals about God’s character—and what it does not say. Together, we will examine the great controversy behind the scenes, the accusations made against God, the limits of human understanding, and the danger of offering shallow explanations for deep pain. Through Job’s story, we will confront some of life’s hardest questions: Does suffering mean God is punishing us? Can we trust God when He seems silent? Why does He allow the faithful to suffer? And what kind of God is present when everything falls apart? This study is for anyone who has ever faced loss, disappointment, injustice, illness, betrayal, or unanswered prayer—and wondered where God was in the middle of it all. The book of Job does not give us a God who is distant, cruel, or careless. It reveals a God whose wisdom is higher than ours, whose love can be trusted even in the dark, and whose final answer to suffering is not an explanation—but His presence. Job invites us to bring our questions, our grief, and our faith into the presence of God—and discover that even when we do not understand what He is doing, we can still trust who He is. Please join us, in person or online, for this inspiring series on God's character.
